Things you should know about Digital Locker

Loosing documents.....a matter of past now

I still remember the last time my purse got lost. Loosing the money isn't  that big a loss than loosing all your important cards , be it the ATM card or Driving licence or PAN card. It took  huge trouble and numerous round to police station and RTO office to get the duplicate thing again. But thanks to the new scheme ...this trouble will be a act of past.

Government of India launched a new scheme yesterday in NewDelhi.

Here is a discussing on it.

Q1. What is it ?

  • Integration of DigiLocker with Driving Licenses (DL) & Vehicle Registration Certificates (RC).
  • With this integration people will no longer need to carry around physical copies of their RCs and Driving Licences.
  • They can instead access digital copies of the same on their mobile phones via the DigiLocker mobile app.
  • Driving Licenses and Vehicle Registration documents can now be issued directly to the DigiLockers of individuals in digital formats. These digital copies can be shared with other departments as identity and address proof.
  • They will also be used for on the spot verification through the cittizen’s mobile, by various law enforcement authorities like the Traffic Police.
  • Besides being convenient for people, this will also result in assured authenticity of such documents and reduction of administrative overhead.

When a person signs up for a DigiLocker he gets access to a dedicated cloud storage space for his important documents.

Q2. How to register yourself ?

In order to access the digital RC and DL a person needs to first sign up for a DigiLocker. He then needs to download the DigiLocker Android App from Google PlayStore. In the Mobile App he will have to select the Issued Documents section and then the DL/RC.

Q3. What can you expect in future ?
There is work going ontowards intergrating even documents like vehicle insurance and fitness certificates to DigiLocker .

Reliance Jio...A curse or a Boon

Things you should know about Reliance JIO before buying its sim or handset.
Well to be frank, since the time JIO has entered Indian market , it has created a buzz. Be it the customer or the rivals, everyone is on their foot. With so many gifts it is giving to the customer free of cost, no doubt we are seeing a huge rise in their customer base with each passing day.

The first thing which comes to your mind is…what’s the catch ??

“Kya Reliance ko koi jaadu ki chari mil gayi hai??”

Well, we will analyze the situation to know the hidden story and facts because we all know how good Ambani ji is as a businessman and he must have planned it all.
To simplify, let’s break down everything into 3 parts:
  • ·        Before you buy the sim
  • ·        You with your awesome plan of JIO till 31st December
  • ·        After 31st December

Let’s discuss each of the things in a little more detail.

1. Before you buy the sum

Life was going ok with you and your old phone and your old data packs giving your 3G speed. People with various class end up paying around Rs 200-1000 on their phone bill for different data plans and then suddenly JIO thing happened with a heavy background music and shooting stars and everyone started shouting ”Lo aa gaya humara masiha jo hume manhge data plan se mukti dilayega”.

In no time JIO store got queued up. We Indians love anything which is free and so we loved this too. If you already bought the sim, this part is not for you and so you can scroll down to the next section. Rest can continue…

You will need a new phone with 4G to use JIO sim.

Sad news if you just invested in buying a new phone without 4G. You need to buy another one to use the offer . But this offer is so tempting..so why give a second thought. Ambaniji came up with a solution and offered many cheap handset starting for around Rs 3000 to its customer. He must have made a lot of money selling these and surely this was his first master stroke. He also partnered with Samsung and Lg which must have benefited both of them a lot.

JIO to JIO works good, but JIO to OTHER…can’t say the same
“Hey buddy, I got a jio and I want to talk to you for free ..so you also get a jio too na??”.
Well, this is the second master plan. Jio to Jio voice call is working much better than JIO to OTHERS because of some technical issue. So the product will advertise on its own from mouth to mouth and the sale surely will increase exponentially.
You need an Aadhar to get the card and the best thing…..it’s totally free.

Ambaniji wants everyone to get addicted to the high speed of 4G. Once we are used to it, using 3G will feel like su*king and you will be happily paying a little more to get the same speed. Well coming back, you can obviously try it by taking your Aadhar card and please don’t pay a penny to the dealer. . "Jio's Data, Voice, Video and the full bouquet of Jio applications and content will be available for EVERYONE absolutely FREE, till 31st December 2016," says Ambani

2.You with your awesome plan of JIO
Well life has completely changed. Now you feel like our own superhero "SHAKTIMAAN" . Illegal movies download, songs download, youtube pe always watching only HD videos, videolectures, online gaming, downloading studymaterial, buffering porn etc etc. now became a matter of seconds. You suddenly started loving Ambani's fat son too.

3. Reliance JIO Post 31st December

Reliance wishes everyone with a great new year 17 by ending their free service on the last day of 2k16. By now you must have downloaded a  lots of movies, watched so many youtube videos, browsed a huge lot of data. Surely you would have been active 24-7 on social media…in short you are hooked to JIO like you are hooked to facebook now. Remember the day you first signed up and the day now. I bet many can’t stay away even few days away. Jio has been talking about giving Rs 50 for 1Gb data but this seems to be incorrect seeing their plan structure.

1.      For now there are 7.
      Plan Rs 149: 0.3GB + 100 messages +28 days validity
3.      Plan Rs 499: 4GB + voice and message unlimited + 8GB data through Jio operated WiFi hotspots + unlimited night usage + 28 days validity
4.      Plan Rs 999: 10GB + voice and message unlimited + 20GB data through Jio operated WiFi hotspots + unlimited night usage + 28 days validity
5.      Plan Rs 1,499: 20GB + voice and message unlimited + 40GB data through Jio operated WiFi hotspots + unlimited night usage + 40 days validity
6.      Plan Rs 2,499: 35GB + voice and message unlimited + 70GB data through Jio operated WiFi hotspots + unlimited night usage + 28 days validity
7.      Plan Rs 3,999: 60GB + voice and message unlimited + 120GB data through Jio operated WiFi hotspots + unlimited night usage + 28 days validity
8.      Plan Rs 4,999: 75GB + voice and message unlimited + 150GB data through Jio operated WiFi hotspots + unlimited night usage + 28 days validity

Minimum recharge of Rs 149 gives you only 0.3GB i.e 300 MB which will last for only a day or two. Hence, once you are hooked up to the JIO service, ready to shell out atleast Rs499 to match the same experience you enjoyed for last few months. Currently someone needing 1 GB data of 3G service end up paying around Rs200 and hence a balance of Rs 300 from so many customer going to Ambaniji’s pocket. Indeed that’s a third master stroke.

1.      Things to note
2.      -- The Jio service is free until December 31, 2016.
3.      -- Students will get 25 per cent extra data. All they have to do is show a valid ID card while subscribing to the plan.
4.      -- There will be special plans for companies.
5.      -- Voice calls will not be charged. They will be served using VoLTE and consumers will only for the data they consume.
What you as a customer can do to get maximum benefit ?
Well most of us have a dual sim phone and so try Ambaniji’s offer till the time it doesn’t hurt your pocket and everything is free. Once you feel like , its getting over budget, try switching back to your old habits, I know it will be difficult but then otherwise you will be like one caught in the trap .
Happy reading and sharing . !!
